For decades, pest control looked and felt the same. Late arrivals. Little explanation. A heavy spray of chemicals and a quick exit. Customers were left hoping it worked. But for us, this wasn’t just an industry problem. It was personal.
The Robertson family has been part of pest control since the 1960s. Three generations on, that legacy continues through Bittn, forming the foundation for something better. Across the industry, the standard hadn’t meaningfully evolved in generations. It was a category waiting for change.

1966: The foundation
The Robertson family entered pest control before the industry was even regulated. A generation that helped shape how pest control was done from the ground up.
2000: Seeing the cracks
At 17, Ryan Robertson entered the industry and saw where it was falling behind: outdated systems and an approach that hadn’t kept up.
2013: Starting again
Bittn was founded with a different mindset. Built to challenge how pest control is done.
2013-2020: Proving the model
Growth came from doing things differently. Early investment in people and technology created an edge.
2020-2023: Resetting the brand
The brand and platform were rebuilt for scale. Stronger identity and deeper investment in technology.
2023-Today: Building the system
Focused on building something that works better at every level. Stronger systems, better people, deliberate growth.
