What we're dealing with

The problem.
The problem.

Spiders in the corners. Ants in the kitchen. Cockroaches in the laundry. Silverfish in books, wardrobes and storage areas. Household pests rarely arrive neatly one at a time, and booking separate treatments every time they appear can quickly become frustrating, costly and ineffective.

The Bittn solution.
The Bittn solution.

Our pest protection service gives your home one smarter treatment for four common household pests: spiders, cockroaches, ants and silverfish. We target where pests live, hide and move, then apply the right treatment strategy to help reduce activity and keep your home protected for longer.

Smarter protection for everyday household pests

About the problem

Most household pests are not random visitors. They are usually responding to food, moisture, shelter, warmth or easy access around the home. That is why treating one pest at a time can feel like a never-ending cycle.

Spiders often follow insect activity. Cockroaches look for warmth, moisture and food. Ants track reliable food and water sources. Silverfish settle into quiet, dark and humid spaces where paper, fabrics and stored items are easy to reach.

Bittn’s Home Pest Protection service is designed to treat these pest pressures together. We focus on the areas pests actually use, inside, outside, around entry points, along edges, in hidden spaces and around the conditions that help them keep coming back.

Our approach

A Bittn technician does not simply turn up and spray everything. We start by speaking with you, checking the property and identifying the areas most likely to support pest activity, movement, harbourage or entry.

From there, we treat the home methodically, focusing on the places spiders, cockroaches, ants and silverfish are most likely to live, hide and move.

  • Inside the home: we focus on areas such as skirting boards, door and window tracks, cracks and crevices, kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, garages, cupboards and other hidden spaces where pests may shelter.
  • Around the outside: we treat key external areas such as building perimeters, eaves, patios, fences, paths, bins, garden edges and outdoor structures where pest activity can build.
  • Hidden pest zones: where accessible and relevant, we may treat roof void areas, entry points, wall penetrations and other protected spaces that pests can use to move through or settle in.

Why it works better

Common household pest problems are often connected. Spiders follow insects. Cockroaches and silverfish thrive in hidden, protected spaces. Ants keep returning when they find reliable food, water or entry points.

Home Pest Protection treats the bigger picture.

  • One service, not four separate fixes: spiders, cockroaches, ants and silverfish are treated together as part of one planned residential pest service.
  • Targeted treatment, not unnecessary spraying: we focus on where pests live, hide and move, not where your family plays.
  • Longer-term thinking, not quick-hit pest control: we look at the conditions that help pests return, then provide practical advice to reduce future pressure.

Long-term protection

Home Pest Protection is designed to provide longer-lasting coverage for spiders, cockroaches, ants and silverfish. Treatments can have a service lifespan of up to 12 months and include a six-month warranty period, giving you confidence long after the technician leaves.

After treatment, your technician will explain what was treated, what to expect as the treatment settles, and any simple steps that can help reduce future pest pressure.

  • Designed for lasting coverage: a planned treatment for common household pests, not a quick one-off reaction.
  • Backed by clear service terms: if covered pest activity continues within the relevant service period, we will explain your re-service options and what is included.
  • Practical prevention advice: we help you understand the conditions that may be attracting pests, so you can reduce the chances of them returning.
  • Annual protection made simple: one service for four common household pests, designed to keep your home protected with less guesswork.

Questions

Answers to common questions about Home Pest Protection.

Our plan covers the full spectrum of common household pests, including ants, cockroaches, spiders, silverfish, earwigs, fleas, flies, wasps, crickets, millipedes, centipedes, and stored‑product pests (like pantry moths). Specific pest lists are available on request.

Yes. This is the service we recommend for general household pest protection because it treats the common pest group together rather than treating each pest in isolation.

No. Home Pest Protection covers common household pests such as spiders, cockroaches, ants and silverfish. Termites require a separate inspection, treatment or management plan.

Most homes benefit from regular annual treatment, although this can depend on pest pressure, property conditions and the surrounding environment.

Bittn uses targeted treatments and follows product label directions carefully. Your technician will provide clear instructions before and after treatment, including any guidance for pets, aquariums, bird cages or areas that need to be avoided while treatment settles.

In most cases, only simple preparation is needed. We may ask you to provide access to key areas, move items away from walls or skirting boards, close windows and doors where required, and secure pets during treatment.

Some activity can continue for a short time as the treatment takes effect. Your technician will explain what is normal and when to contact us if covered pest activity continues.
